Day-by-day itinerary
Arrive in Beijing
English-speaking meet-and-greet at the airport or railway station, followed by a private transfer to your centrally located hotel. The rest of the day is free to rest.
Imperial Beijing & hutong life
Visit Tiananmen Square, then spend 2.5–3 hours exploring the Forbidden City in depth. Continue to Jingshan for a view over the palace roofs and walk through a traditional hutong neighborhood. Lunch is included, followed by a Beijing duck dinner.
Temple of Heaven & Mutianyu Great Wall
Begin among the morning activity in the Temple of Heaven park, then travel to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Scenic-area shuttle transport and a round-trip cable car are included. Evening free.
Summer Palace & departure
Visit the Summer Palace, enjoy lunch, then transfer to the airport or railway station.
