Day-by-day itinerary
Arrival in Zhangjiajie
Your guide meets you at Zhangjiajie airport — many flights arrive late in the evening — and transfers you to your hotel in the city. Rest up for the days ahead.
Tianmen Mountain, night show & massage
Ride the cable car up Tianmen Mountain and walk the glass skywalk and Guigu plank road. Visit Tianmen Temple, then descend to Heaven's Gate cave. In the evening, see the 72 Qilou night views, watch the Tianmen Fox Fairy show from VIP seats, and unwind with a 90-minute body and foot massage.
Avatar peaks: Yuanjiajie & Tianzishan
Take the cable car up to Tianzishan for Yubifeng, Fairy Flowers and Helong Park. Continue to Yuanjiajie — the Avatar filming inspiration — for the First Bridge Under Heaven and Mihun Terrace. Ride the Bailong Elevator down, then tour the Shilihua Gallery by mini-train and walk along Jinbian Stream.
Huanglong Cave, Grand Canyon & Huangshizhai
Explore Huanglong Cave with its underground river cruise, then cross the Grand Canyon glass bridge (Line B route with slides and boat ride). Finish with the Huangshizhai VIP line for sweeping pillar views.
Baofeng Lake & departure
Cruise Baofeng Lake by boat, visit the Junsheng Sandstone Painting Museum, then transfer to the airport for departure.
